What fuel pump does a gyroplane use?
A mechanical pump driven off the engine is standard on Rotax installations. Many installations add an electric backup pump wired to run during takeoff, landing and any maneuvering, so a mechanical pump failure does not leave the engine unfed at the moment it matters most.
