Magni Gyro
Italian manufacturer of two-seat gyroplanes, based at Besnate in the province of Varese. Its current range is the M16, M22, M24 and M26, all two-seat and all built on a TIG-welded 4130 steel airframe.
About Magni Gyro
Magni Gyro is based at Via Volpina 23, Besnate, in the province of Varese in northern Italy. The company describes itself as a producer of gyroplanes for work and leisure, and its current published range runs to four two-seat types: the M16 Tandem Trainer, the M22 Voyager, the M24 Orion and the M26 Victor.
Common ground across the range, as published by the manufacturer: a chrome-alloy 4130 aeronautical steel airframe, TIG welded, a two-bladed composite rotor of 28ft diameter, and Rotax powerplants. The M16 is offered with either the naturally aspirated Rotax 912 or the turbocharged 914, and the M22, M24 and M26 pages list the turbocharged 914. Magni also publishes a Plus series, and its own news pages record an M24C PLUS certified for night VFR operations in the United Kingdom.
Layout is what separates the types rather than structure. The M16 is a tandem two-seater with dual controls, presented as the training machine. The M22 is an open two-seater with single control. The M24 Orion is fully enclosed and side-by-side with dual controls. The M26 Victor is a faired tandem two-seater under a large canopy, with single control and a four-blade propeller where the others carry three.
Figures on the model pages are reproduced here exactly as Magni publishes them, including the units they use. Where the manufacturer does not publish a figure, this site does not carry one: there is no empty mass, maximum take-off mass or never-exceed speed below, because those are not stated on the public pages. For anything that governs how you operate the aircraft, the flight manual for your specific machine is the authority.
