What this platform is

Gyrocopters.com is a listing and reference site. We are not a party to any sale. We do not act as broker, agent, escrow, or inspector for buyers or sellers. Contracts formed after contact through this site are between the buyer and the seller.

Accuracy of listings

Listing content is supplied by sellers. We do not verify aircraft condition, hours, ownership, airworthiness status, or the seller's right to sell. Buyers are responsible for their own inspection and due diligence.

Aviation safety and advice

Nothing on this site is airworthiness advice, maintenance instruction, training guidance, or a substitute for the aircraft flight manual, applicable airworthiness directives, or the requirements of your national civil aviation authority.

Seller obligations

Sellers must describe aircraft accurately, hold the right to sell what they list, supply their own photographs, and comply with the export, registration and consumer law obligations that apply to them.

Acceptable use of this site

No scraping the database, no republishing listings in bulk, no listing aircraft you do not have the right to sell, and no contacting sellers for anything other than a genuine enquiry.

Clauses your lawyer must write

  • Governing law and jurisdiction.
  • Limitation of liability, drafted against the consumer protections that apply in each market you serve. Blanket exclusions are unenforceable against consumers in the EU and the UK.
  • Intellectual property and the licence sellers grant you over their listing content.
  • Account suspension and termination grounds.
  • Complaints and dispute resolution, including EU online dispute resolution requirements if applicable.
  • Whether the EU Platform to Business Regulation applies to your dealer relationships. If it does, it carries specific transparency and ranking-disclosure duties.
