Yellow enclosed-cabin gyroplane in flight against a clear blue sky

Glossary

What is an aircraft intercom?

A system letting pilot and passenger hear each other and the radio over engine and wind noise, wired into their headsets. It matters more on an open-cockpit gyroplane than in most aircraft, since wind noise alone can make unaided conversation difficult.

That is the whole entry for now. The longer version, with the mechanics and worked examples, is still to be written. See autorotation for how those read once they exist.
