Glossary
What is an engine monitor?
A display reading cylinder head and exhaust gas temperature, oil temperature and pressure, and voltage, replacing a row of separate round gauges with one screen. On Rotax-powered gyroplanes it is commonly built into the same glass cockpit display used for flight instruments, instead of sold as its own separate unit.
Also called EMS
That is the whole entry for now. The longer version, with the mechanics and worked examples, is still to be written. See autorotation for how those read once they exist.
