NISUS AERO builds the NISUS, a factory built gyroplane with a side-by-side cockpit, sold in three editions that differ mainly by engine. The Sport carries a Rotax 912 UL+T rated 120 hp, the Comfort a Rotax 915 iS rated 141 hp, and the Platinum a Rotax 916 iS rated 160 hp. The manufacturer also lists an EP 912 STi at 154 hp and an MW Fly Spirit 160 at 160 hp as options.
The airframe is a 25CrMo4 steel tube frame with a carbon composite sandwich structure for the cabin and tail. The rotor is a Gyrotech system of 8500 mm diameter, with pneumatic rotor trim.
