What propeller does a gyroplane use?
Most factory and kit gyroplanes carry a composite, ground-adjustable pusher propeller, its pitch set on the ground and not adjustable in flight, from manufacturers such as Sensenich, Warp Drive and Airmaster. Pusher means the propeller sits behind the cabin, pushing instead of pulling, the layout nearly every modern gyroplane uses.
That is the whole entry for now. The longer version, with the mechanics and worked examples, is still to be written. See autorotation for how those read once they exist.
