Glossary

What are gyroplane rotor blades made of?

Either an aluminum extrusion or a composite layup, on a two-blade teetering rotor, the design nearly every gyroplane on the market uses, tracing back to Bensen's original layout. The two blades are matched to each other in manufacturing and are not interchangeable with a blade from a different set without rebalancing.

That is the whole entry for now. The longer version, with the mechanics and worked examples, is still to be written. See autorotation for how those read once they exist.
