What is center line thrust?
A design where the propeller thrust line passes through, or very close to, the aircraft's center of gravity. Adding or reducing power on a true CLT design has little effect on pitch, and the design is not subject to a power push over the way a high thrust line design is. Most gyroplanes are not built this way; a high thrust line, paired with a proper stabiliser, is the more common modern layout instead.
